About us

We are looking for a new Contract and Commissioning Officer to join our experienced and supportive all age Contract and Commissioning Team in Adult Social Care. There is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave and a permenant post, you will work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of 2 days in the office at Times Square, Warrington and site visits to care home. You will be part of a team of three Contracts and Commissioning Officers reporting to the Working Age Contracts and Commissioning Team Manager.

As an individual you will need the right values, excellent communication skills and an ability to break down complex issues and processes into manageable and deliverable activity. You will need to be confident enough to set clear expectations for a range of colleagues and partners, whilst maintaining a supportive approach. Our future success will be dependent on working collaboratively and co-producing new responses to local challenges. We expect all our work to be informed by the voices of those that use our services. There is a requirement to travel to care providers and partners as part of the role.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Local Government and preferably within a social care setting, plus knowledge of contract and commissioning.
