About us

Woodlands Cottage Pet Crematorium, Part of Bereavement Services, opened in May 2025, we are a growing Pet Crematorium offering a beautiful setting to say a final goodbye to your beloved pet. Offering time to say goodbye in our tranquil farewell room at Woodlands cottage. We would like to offer families the opportunity to say goodbye and allow us the honour of taking their pet on their final journey, 7 days a week, Including Bank Holidays.

The role

15 Hours - Weekend Working (Saturday and Sunday)

We are seeking a dependable, respectful, and compassionate individual to administrate the weekend day to day duties of Woodlands Cottage pet crematorium, opening and closing the premises and cemetery gates. This is a role that involves sensitive client interaction, receiving of deceased pets and looking after their owners.

What's needed?

A full driving licence is essential for the role, opening and closing of cemetery gates across the borough and the collection of pets from their home or veterinary practice. Providing administration support to the bereavement services team. Working independently unsupervised from multiple sites.

Key Dates & Further Information

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
