About us
We are looking for Business Support Officers to join our experienced and supportive Business Support Team in Contracts and Commissioning. We are advertising two full-time permanent posts. You will work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of 2 days in the office at Times Square, Warrington. You will be part of a team of five Business Support Officers alongside a Senior Business Support Officer, who all report to the Business Support Team Manager.
The role
We invest over £130m each year in care and support services for adults across Warrington. The successful post holder will play a key role in supporting Contracting and Commissioning Team. We are dedicated to commissioning, procuring, contracting and monitoring a range of services which improve the outcomes for children and adults within Warrington.
What's needed?
As a Business Support Officer, you will be expected to provide quality support, work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team. You will be required to act on your own initiative, be able to prioritise tasks and duties and work calmly and effectively when under pressure. You will be able to problem solve and be able to determine appropriate courses of action.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity.
- Has the ability to use a range of IT solutions.
- Has a flexible approach to work combined with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Has the ability to prioritise workloads and work against tight deadlines.
