About us
We are looking for a new Assistant Safeguarding and Quality Officer (ASQO) to join our experienced and supportive Quality Assurance and Improvement Team. The Quality Assurance and Improvement Team sits within the Adult Safeguarding Service in Adult Social Care.
This is a permanent post and you will work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of 2 days in the office at Time Square, Warrington and site visits to a wide range of care and support providers in and out of borough. You will be part of a team of 7 with a mixture of Safeguarding and Quality Officers (SQO) and ASQOs reporting to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Team Manager.
The role
We support a large number of care and support providers supporting adults within Warrington. This includes – Care &Nursing Homes, Supported Accommodation, Care at Home, Day Opportunities and Outreach. The primary focus of the role is to support SQOs to work with local services which deliver care and support to make quality improvements. In addition to this, the post holder will work closely with the Adult Safeguarding Managers to undertake project work to explore adult safeguarding and care quality data and provision within Warrington.
What's needed?
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a social care or health setting with adults and/or older people. Experience of safeguarding, multi-agency working and working as part of a team would be desirable, however, training will be available. Commitment to providing a quality service is expected and new ideas for improvements are welcomed.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

The ability to manage their time efficiently.
Resilience to work in a fast-paced role.
