About us

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Payroll Team at Warrington Borough Council. 

The team are looking for 3 Payroll Business Partners who will play an important role in ensuring the effective delivery of payroll services to Council employees and its customers.

The role

As part of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing payroll information
  • Dealing with internal and external customers
  • Administering pensions and sending information to providers
  • Ensuring HMRC compliance
  • Issuing contracts of employment and maintaining personal files
  • Resolving payroll and pension queries

What's needed?

This is a very busy and demanding role, which requires high levels of customer service and IT skills. You must have the ability to prioritise your own workload and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
