We are seeking to recruit a Senior Development Manager who will work closely with our Homelessness, Children's Services and Adult Social Care teams to ensure current and future accommodation needs are met; ensuring an adequate supply of high quality specialist homes through maintenance, acquisition, adaptation, enhancement or direct delivery, from concept and business case development through to handover. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to Identify and implement any new or innovative solutions required to achieve project outcomes on strict budgets, exercising judgement and decision making to resolve problems as they arise to deliver development projects on time, within budget and to the required standard.
The post will require the procurement and appointment of external consultants and close working relationships with officers across the Council, Registered Providers, funders such as Homes England of the Department for Education and elected members.
