Trading Standards plays a vital role in protecting consumers, supporting legitimate businesses, and maintaining fair, safe markets. Trading Standards North West (TSNW) is seeking a dynamic and organised professional to help drive this work at a regional level.

This is a key role at the heart of regional collaboration across 24 local authorities, working with senior leaders, government bodies and partner organisations to coordinate activity, support major projects, and help shape strategy. You’ll also deputise for the Regional Co‑ordinator when required, ensuring continuity and strong leadership.

This is a unique opportunity to influence Trading Standards activity across the North West, contribute to high‑profile regional and national work, and be part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking network of Trading Standards professionals.

The role

We are looking to recruit s Deputy Regional Co‑ordinator – Trading Standards North West, this is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2029, working 37 hours per week (flexible working pattern considered). This role is Hybrid working (North West travel with occasional travel more widely required).
